What a hallmark gold kada is

A kada is solid gold, hallmark, often a pair. It is not a flexible bracelet. Men’s kadas are a regular ask. Women’s kadas sit next to the bangle tray. Maharashtrian, plain, or carved. 916 is the default. Made to size if the one you like does not close on your wrist.

When people buy a kada

Everyday. A wedding. Dhanteras. A men’s piece. A pair that has to match jewellery already in the house. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point. We will not sell a light bracelet as a kada because it is what is on the table.

A photo from Pinterest is enough to start. If you don’t like it, give it back and we will remake it. Because we care about the customer being satisfied. Say whether it must close on a measured wrist, and whether the carving must match a family piece. Custom.

How kadas are sized and checked

Tried on the wrist in the room. If it does not close, they make it to size. Hallmark. Stamp against the ticket. Finish on the carving. A kada that pinches or will not close does not leave as “it will loosen”. All jewellery passes strict QC. How a piece is checked. After you take it home, store it so it does not dent a lighter chain. Which showroom for kadas

Kundali is diamond-first. For a solid gold kada they will send you to Narenkumar on the same road. Kandivali is last. Vijay and Mahendra. People also come here from Borivali, Malad and Dahisar. Message if you want a pair pulled.

Men’s kadas and Maharashtrian pairs

Men’s kadas are a regular ask at Bhayandar. Maharashtrian pairs sit next to the bangle tray. Plain or carved. Temple-look when that is the sitting. Tried on the wrist. If it does not close, they make it to size. We will not send you home with a kada that pinches and a promise that it will loosen. That is not how we work.

Dhanteras and weddings fill this tray. Everyday too — a man who wants one piece of gold and does not want a chain. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point. A wedding pair is not a Dhanteras kada. We will not mix the two speeches. Antique-look kadas live with antique jewellery.

Hallmark 916. Stamp against the ticket. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. If you have a family kada on your phone, we can match the carving. If you don’t like the remake, give it back and we will remake it. We do not sell online. A kada has to close on the wrist you have.

How a visit usually goes

Walk in before closing. Bhayandar closes 9:30 PM. Mira Road, Kundali and Kandivali close 9 PM. Say what you want. They open the tray. You try the weight or the size. They show the hallmark or the certificate. If the piece is not there, they take a photograph and a date. If you do not like the finished work, give it back and we remake it.

We are customer first. We think long term. People have been trusting these stores for generations. Since 1992, about 34 years. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. We do not sell online. We do not publish gold rates, making charges or buyback percentages. Exchange is discussed at the counter, in general terms, on the piece in front of you.
