When people buy a necklace or haar

We try to do what is right for the customer at that point. We will not talk a temple family into a light modern set because it is what is on the table this week.

If you see a design on Instagram, we can make it. If you don’t like the fall, give it back and we will remake it. Because we care about the customer being satisfied. Say what must stay — the fall, the motif, whether earrings must match. Custom.

How a necklace is checked

Hallmark on gold. Certificate on diamonds. Locks, clasps and stone seats get checked. A haar that will not sit, or a lock that will open, does not leave. All jewellery passes strict QC. How a piece is checked. After you take it home, store it separately. A carved haar will scratch a light chain if they share a box. Jewellery care.

A short city set is a different job from a laxmi har. The short set sits for a function that is not a wedding, or for someone who does not want temple weight. The haar is the wedding piece. Temple work. Antique designer necklaces. South Indian coral. Try the fall. Twenty minutes on the neck tells you more than a reel. We will not talk you from one into the other.

Earrings that come with the set should be tried with the necklace in the same sitting. Maang tikka after the haar. Baju band measured on the arm. That is a wedding sitting, and it belongs on bridal jewellery. If you only want the necklace, say so. We will not open every bridal tray because the word haar was used.

Since 1992, families have sat for haar at Bhayandar and then at Mira Road. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. If you don’t like the fall of a piece we made from a photograph, give it back and we will remake it. Because we care about the customer being satisfied. We do not sell online. A haar has to be worn.

How a visit usually goes

Walk in before closing. Bhayandar closes 9:30 PM. Mira Road, Kundali and Kandivali close 9 PM. Say what you want. They open the tray. You try the weight or the size. They show the hallmark or the certificate. If the piece is not there, they take a photograph and a date. If you do not like the finished work, give it back and we remake it.

We are customer first. We think long term. People have been trusting these stores for generations. Since 1992, about 34 years. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. We do not sell online. We do not publish gold rates, making charges or buyback percentages. Exchange is discussed at the counter, in general terms, on the piece in front of you.

Message the store you already use if you are travelling across the city for one size or one length. A cropped story from Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest is enough to start.
